About Us
A Time to Give Back to Africa Inc. is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting underprivileged youths across Africa and the West Indies. Our mission is to empower these young individuals by providing opportunities in sports, education, agriculture, and music. Based in Brooklyn, New York, we gather donations to support various youth programs, including football/soccer teams, community centers, and schools in economically disadvantaged areas.
Since our inception in 2012 and obtaining 501(c)(3) status in 2016, our commitment has been unwavering. We collect new and gently used football/soccer gear—cleats, uniforms, balls, shin guards, socks, and other equipment—alongside clothes and shoes. Beyond material aid, we offer resources crucial for learning and development, such as pens and pencils, notebooks, textbooks, computers, and laptops. We also conduct computer literacy workshops for students, teachers, and parents, provide agriculture workshops, and offer an introduction to music production.
Following the collection of donations, we personally ship and distribute these items in the respective countries. To ensure transparency and foster trust among our supporters, we document the distribution process, acknowledging our donors by name during these presentations. This footage is shared on our website and social media platforms, allowing our donors and the public to witness the impact of their contributions firsthand.
Transparency and commitment are the cornerstones of our organization. We are devoted to serving the underprivileged youths of Africa and the West Indies, empowering them to build brighter futures through sports, education, agriculture, and music.

We collect soccer balls, cleats, and uniforms and ship them to African teams in need.
